A Bed and A Book Highlights

On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, members of the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) and the Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character (ACLC) hosted a bed build event for A Bed and a Book. Around 50 Wake Forest University faculty, staff, and students, including members of the Men’s Soccer Team, built 20 beds on the Farrell Hall Terrace alongside colleagues from Allegacy Federal Credit Union. Students in Professor Douglas Johnson’s BEM 318 class partnered with WFU Engineering students to design and build beds for the bed race.
