Christia H. Fisher is in her third season in the Wake Forest Athletic Department and has been working at Wake Forest since 1991. Fisher serves in the Student-Athlete Services Office as the Tutor Coordinator for all sports and the academic counselor for the women’s golf team and the men’s tennis team.A native of Chapel Hill, N.C., Fisher earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then went on to earn a pair of master’s degrees from Wake Forest, an M.A. in History in 1992 and an M.A. in Religion in 1997.Prior to joining the Athletic Department, Fisher served as the Assistant Director of Merit-Based Scholarships and also worked in the Office of Development and the Office of Financial Aid. Fisher served as a tutor with Student-Athlete Services prior to joining the office full-time.Fisher and her husband, John, are the parents of three children: Rand, Linden and Leah. The family resides in Winston-Salem. She enjoys playing tennis, gardening and reading.
